Distorted Future were a punk band formed in Hartlepool, England during 1984 and played a handful of gigs around the North East including supporting Uproar and The Obliterated at The Queens pub in Hartlepool.  The bands line up comprised of Gary Innes on vocals, John Burgess on guitar, Neil Kirby on Bass and John Shaw on drums. The band was influenced by The Exploited, GBH and Discharge.  In 1985 the band recruited Jeff Garbutt on drums to replace John, who couldn't commit to the band.

Thanks to all the Hartlepool punks & skins for your support, especially Paul Holland, Neil Forcer, Greg Tait, Pussy, Matho, Jobbo, The Brus Army & the late Les Best R.I.P. Paul & Keith for the tattoos. Also the landlords of the Queens pub & the Brus Arms in Hartlepool and the Rock Garden in Middlesbrough for some great nights. Cheers.
